What Information Do You Need for a Custom Packaging Quote?

Providing clear information when requesting a custom packaging quote helps the manufacturer understand your requirements and prepare a more accurate quotation.

If you are sourcing flexible packaging for diapers, sanitary napkins, underpads, wet wipes or tissue products, the following information will help us get started.

1. Product Type and Application

Please tell us what the packaging will be used for, such as baby diapers, adult diapers, sanitary napkins, underpads, wet wipes or tissue products.

The product type and packing method can affect the bag format, dimensions and material requirements. If the product will be packed using an automatic packaging machine, please mention that as well.

2. Packaging Format and Samples

Please specify whether you need finished bags or packaging film rolls. If you have a packaging sample or product drawing, you can share it with us. Drawings should include the relevant dimensions.

If you send us a physical packaging sample, we can assess its dimensions, material, thickness and other relevant requirements. This helps us understand your needs more accurately and prepare a more precise quotation.

3. Material Structure and Thickness

If you already know the required material structure and thickness, please include them in your inquiry. If not, you can describe your requirements, such as the desired appearance, flexibility, product protection or intended use.

Based on your product and packaging process, we can discuss suitable options. The final material structure should be confirmed before production.

4. Artwork and Printing Requirements

If you need printed packaging, please provide the artwork so we can review the printing requirements. MSH Packaging supports custom printing with up to 11 colors, subject to review of the artwork and production requirements.

5. Order Quantity for Each Size and Artwork

Please specify the order quantity for each size and each artwork. The quantity may affect production planning and pricing. If you are still working out the final quantities, an estimate is helpful for an initial discussion.

6. Samples and Quality Requirements

You can send your existing packaging sample to MSH Packaging so we can better understand its dimensions, material, thickness and other requirements.

If you have specific quality requirements, such as appearance, print quality or sealing performance, please let us know so we can discuss and confirm them before production.

7. Trade Terms and Destination Port

Please specify your preferred trade terms and destination port so we can prepare a quotation based on the relevant shipping information.

MSH Packaging provides quotations on an FOB basis. Please include your destination port when submitting your inquiry.
